With the recent problems/improvements of the healthcare rollout, a lot of people have been looking towards single-payer.
One aspect that has been overlooked is public opinion which, surprisingly, has majority to overwhelmingly support (not including right-leaning Rasmussen polls). A good summary can be found on Wikipedia.
It's something progressives should consider when people try to say that Americans shy away from single-payer.
